EA Fish Associates and Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches (RAMB) played host to the second annual “Battle of the Brokers” event recently at Latitude One, the office condominium component of its mixed-use riverfront community, Latitude on the River. Five leading area brokerage houses competed in a friendly bartending contest with the event benefiting the Realtors Political Action Committee (RPAC).

After decorating their bar in a desired theme, each team was led by a captain who guided his or her team to collect the most tips at their “bar” by creating unique and flavorful cocktails that attracted agents attending the party.

The winning team was Coldwell Banker; other firms participating were New Image Realty Group; Esslinger-Wooten-Maxwell, Inc.; Fortune International Realty Inc.; and Keller Williams Realty. The total amount raised from the event, including an auction, was in excess of $9,000.

“We enjoy participating in events such as ‘Battle of the Brokers’ because it helps us demonstrate our support of the broker community and allows us an opportunity to showcase the project in new ways,” said Steven Gelb, Florida managing partner of E.A. Fish Associates, the Boston-based company which developed Latitude One.

Latitude One is a 24-story office building with 231,000 square feet of Class-A office space and retail on the ground floor. It is located at 175 SW 7 St. on the south side of the property along the Miami River. The building has been designed and constructed with advanced fiber-optic and energy-efficient technology systems and meets all the current Hurricane wind loading codes; and features full-impact energy efficient glass window and exterior door systems.

Latitude on the River encompasses a 44-story residential tower with 452 units and a 10,000 square-foot building housing a retail bank. Latitude on the River will feature a riverfront restaurant, integrated into the beautiful multi-million dollar meandering Riverwalk being built as part of the revitalization of the Miami River neighborhood.
