Ruiz elected Realtor Residential President

The Realtor* Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches (RAMB) has elected as its 2010 Residential President Oliver Ruiz, Managing Broker of Fortune International Realty, Inc.  He and the entire Residential Board will be installed on February 5th at the Annual Awards & Installation Luncheon at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables.

With nearly 14 years of experience as a Realtor in South Florida, Ruiz has served on the Florida Realtors(r) Board of Directors since 2006 and has been a National Association of Realtors Director since 2009. Ruiz joined Fortune International Realty in February 2003 as the Sales Manager of their main office overseeing a sales team of over 150 associates.  In 2005, he was promoted to the position of Managing Broker for Fortune International Realty overseeing the day-to-day operations of four (4) sales offices with more than 400 Sales Associates.  Ruiz is responsible for managing all aspects of the company including strategic growth, new business developments, profit and loss, and acquisitions.

Ruiz has received various awards and recognitions including:  Wimbish Riteway's "Winner Circle", RAMB Advocate of the Year (2006), and RAMB Ambassador of the Year (2007).  He has also served as the chair on several Appeals Tribunal hearings and as a member of various committees on the State and national levels and conducted several Code of Ethics training programs for members of the association.

Ruiz has participated in and actively promotes involvement in Realtor legislative days and continuation of close working relationships with our elected and appointed officials at the local, state and federal levels in protecting and expanding private property rights for all.
