City e-News receives national award

The City of Coral Gables made an impression at the recent 2009 Savvy Awards Competition. The City-County Communications and Marketing Association (3CMA), the leading organization for local governments that are innovating new and better ways of communicating with their citizens, selected the Coral Gables e-News for an Award of Excellence at the National Savvy Awards Competition in the category of Digital Interactive Newsletter.

Judges comments heralded the electronic newsletter as “well organized with magazine style articles filled with topics targeting a diverse audience. The Spanish translation again demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to the diversity of their readers.”

The free newsletter, produced by the Office of Public Affairs, is e-mailed every other week keeping citizens informed about everything and anything happening in the City Beautiful.
