The History: The Coral Gables Gazette was founded in 1996 by Limestone Communications to serve the residents and non-residents of Coral Gables, South Miami, Coconut Grove, Pinecrest and Brickell local weekly news and other Miami information. Over the last 12 years, the Gazette has won many statewide awards for journalism, news, photos, illustrations, humor, sports and first amendment writing. And as the paper has continued to grow in circulation and popularity, the Gazette has become the trusted voice of Coral Gables, South Miami, Coconut Grove, Pinecrest and Brickell.
